The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are 17 global targets, adopted by the UN, that address the world’s most urgent challenges. Their mission is clear: to create a fairer, more equitable, and sustainable future for all people and the planet.
How do the SDGs impact the world?
The SDGs provide a clear roadmap to address the global challenges of the 21st century. These goals cover key areas essential for building a more inclusive and prosperous world, from poverty eradication to climate action:

At ApetEat, we take responsibility for caring for the environment and supporting people. We currently actively contribute to 10 of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda, and we continue improving our practices and policies to expand our impact in more areas. Below, we present the goals where we focus our actions.
NO POVERTY
Opportunities for a poverty-free future
We fight poverty by supporting people at risk of exclusion through inclusive employment and food donations to vulnerable families. Additionally, we collaborate on projects in Africa that improve the lives of the most in-need communities.
ZERO HUNGER
Zero waste, zero hunger
We support nutrition in vulnerable communities by donating food surpluses and giving our clients the option to collaborate with the Bamba orphanage in Kenya. This helps fight hunger and promotes healthy eating.
HEALTH AND WELL-BEING
Global well-being through food
We promote a healthy lifestyle by offering nutritious and balanced food options. Through social inclusion and food donations to vulnerable families, we improve quality of life in disadvantaged communities in Spain and international projects in Africa.
GENDER EQUALITY
Opportunities and fairness, regardless of gender
We promote workplace equality, with over 70% of leadership positions held by women, and facilitate work-life balance. In Zambia, we collaborate on an efficient stoves project that improves living conditions and reduces women’s workload in rural communities.
CLEAN WATER AND SANITATION
Every drop counts! Safe and sustainable water
Through our collaboration with AUARA, we help bring clean drinking water to communities in Africa. Every bottle of water consumed contributes to projects providing access to safe water, supporting health and well-being.
AFFORDABLE AND CLEAN ENERGY
Clean energy for global impact
We are carbon neutral. We offset our emissions by supporting the efficient stoves project in Zambia, reducing pollution and improving living conditions for people in the country.
DECENT WORK AND ECONOMIC GROWTH
Sustainable employment, responsible growth
We foster an inclusive work environment, integrating people with disabilities and promoting decent work in our operations and projects, such as the one in Zambia, which creates local jobs for around 30 people in the country.
REDUCED INEQUALITIES
Equal opportunities for a fair world
We believe in equal opportunities. We support social and labor inclusion in Spain and collaborate on development projects in Kenya and Zambia, working towards a fairer world.
RESPONSIBLE PRODUCTION AND CONSUMPTION
Conscious consumption
Our ECO-FRIENDLY commitment is reflected in 100% sustainable, compostable, and biodegradable packaging. We prioritize local ingredients and plastic-free products, promoting responsible consumption.
CLIMATE ACTION
Acting today to protect tomorrow
We take urgent measures to combat climate change and its effects. We contribute to mitigation by offsetting our emissions through efficient stoves projects in Zambia, reducing firewood consumption and CO2 emissions.
