2030 Agenda: the path towards a sustainable future
The 2030 Agenda, launched by the UN in 2015, is a global action plan guiding us towards sustainable development by the year 2030. Its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) address fundamental issues such as poverty eradication, climate action, equal opportunities, and access to quality education.
This global roadmap seeks to balance three essential aspects for a sustainable future: Social Well-being, Economic Growth, and Environmental Protection.
Social well-being
No one is left behind when everyone’s well-being is the priority. The 2030 Agenda aims to guarantee fundamental rights, reduce inequalities, promote solidarity, and strengthen social inclusion.
Economic growth
True prosperity flourishes when growth is inclusive and fair. The 2030 Agenda promotes decent employment and sustainable economic development for all.
Environmental protection
Caring for the planet today means ensuring life for future generations. The 2030 Agenda fosters sustainable practices and fights against climate change.
Towards a responsible and equitable future for everyone
In 2015, the UN approved the 2030 Agenda to promote sustainable development that improves the lives of all people, leaving no one behind. This initiative includes 17 Sustainable Development Goals, focused on eradicating poverty, driving economic growth, and addressing social needs such as education, healthcare, and employment. At the same time, it seeks to combat climate change and protect the environment.
The 2030 Agenda provides a framework for balancing economic progress with social well-being and environmental sustainability.

How do we collaborate?
Eradicating poverty
Through our collaboration with organizations such as Fundación Áurea, we have managed to donate thousands of meals to families in vulnerable situations. These donations not only reduce food insecurity, but also promote better nutrition and well-being in these communities.
Addressing social needs
Our support for the Bamba orphanage in Kenya has enabled more than 50 children to receive food, education, and proper healthcare. In addition, in Zambia, we collaborate on a project that reduces household smoke emissions by providing more efficient stoves, improving families’ health and their natural environment.
Driving economic growth
We know that economic growth can go hand in hand with environmental care. We optimize the supply chain in our daily operations to minimize food waste and reduce our CO2 footprint. With AUARA as a supplier, we also help fund access-to-clean-water projects in Africa.
